The World Bank has placed the UAE as the best performing trade logistics service-provider in the Gulf region. According to its Logistics Performance Index (LPI) survey, conducted every two years, the UAE scored 3.63 points, ranking 24 among 155 countries across the world, and leaving other Gulf countries far behind.

Currently ranked as the 29th largest export economy in the world, the United Arab Emirates has annual exports of $98.8 billion and imports of $184 billion,The GDP of the United Arab Emirates is $348 billion and this equates to a GDP per capita of $72,400

China is the UAE’s leading trade partner in terms of non-oil commodities, accounting for 9.7 per cent of its total non-oil trade in 2018, valued at over $43 billion, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, has said.
